Total assets of Kurnia stood at 15 billion Baht with shareholders' funds of over 2 billion Baht in the financial year ended June 2002. During that period, Kurnia had seen yet another year of double-digit growth in gross premium, achieving over 9 billion Baht in gross premium.
Malaysian Rating Corporation Bhd (MARC) has affirmed the general insurance financial strength rating of Kurnia at "A+", which reflects the company's leading market position in the Malaysian market, its strong business franchise particularly in the motor insurance market, and its large distribution network.
