Kurnia Insurance (Thailand) Co. Ltd. (KIT), in its present shape and form came to be in August 2001, when Kurnia Damai Sdn. Bhd. acquired Asia Dynamic Insurance Co. Ltd. Kurnia's foray into the Thai insurance market marked a significant episode in its regionalization plan. Numerous resources have been invested and strong support devoted to reinvent KIT. Hence, it is adamant that KIT rises from its current ruins to achieve the same level of success as that of Kurnia Insurans (Malaysia) Berhad.

Kurnia is the largest and one of the most successful general insurance companies in Malaysia and Asean. KIT shall adopt and build on Kurnia's pillar of success, which is founded on fair business practices. KIT is committed to protect the legitimate interests of its policyholders and offer its service providers lucrative and honest business opportunities.

To signify the start of a new lease of life, KIT relocated its head office to the Empire Tower in January 2002. Branches and service centers are also set up across the country to better service our business partners and customers. At present, KIT has 4 branches, 3 service centers and over 250 panel garages nationwide, and a strong workforce of over 160 to provide excellent support and services to both our valued business partners and customers.
